Good, but the changes are noticeable

We had a great time on our Bermuda cruise out of Cape Liberty. Embarkation / Disembarkation smooth , on the ship at 11:30 a . Found the Food , Service and Crew to be on par for Celebrity. Enjoyed meeting some of the Officers one evening in the Sky Lounge. Attended most of the shows in the theater , all were good , the Comedian was hilarious. Dinner for us was in the main Dining Room each night

some parts were amazing and some parts were awful. Muhammad our room attendant was thoughtful. Our food was amazing & some staff paid heavy attention to detail. The Liar club show was phenomenal. The bad experience was my cousin was with us and has low self esteem and an eating disorder, i convinced her to wear these nice pants set as a cover up that made her feel good. Nice clean older ship. Ready for dry dock and update. Furnishings is worn and paint badly needed. Great staff-very friendly and anxious to please. Very average food experience. The entertainment for this cruise was amazing. The comedian and magician were fantastic. The buffet was spectacular, as the food was delicious and the presentation top-notch, however, the food served in the main dining room was disappointing, which was the antithesis of what we expected. Average passenger age appeared to be around 78 so cruise is strictly for seniors. Lots of people with canes and scooters. Not much to do on boat. Food in main restaurant was below average to poor. Most dishes were bland, served at room temperature and not made correctly-ie. chicken cordon blue had a very tiny thin slice of ham at the end, over cooked chicken and no cheese. Food at buffet is worse.

We had 3 back to back cruises on the eclipse April-May 2024. previously cruised on several times on MSC, Holland and Princess. This is our second experience with an old ship and again - it was quite a nice one. Not that you cant tell. You can. But not a big deal.
