ALL students, new and returning, will need to fill out the 24-25 Student Registration tile. This will appear for new students after the New Student Enrollment has been approved.

Reminders
- Please note -all 7th through 12th grade students must fill out our drug testing form to be able to participate in extracurricular activities and park on campus.
- Please note - all kindergarten and 7th grade students must fill out a new immunization record by the first day of school.
- If your student will be riding a bus to and/or from school, please complete the Bus Rider Agreement tile.

- New Student Enrollment and Student Registration are for grades Kindergarten through 12th grade.Pre-K registrationwill be completed on paper and will be available beginning May 9at our Pre-K Roundup night. After May 9, Pre-K applicants can pick up a paper packet at individual elementary campuses, fill them out, and bring them back with all appropriate documents.
Please note - the Student Code of Conduct and the Student Handbook will be published in the summer, and must be viewed and signed by all students. You will have to sign this separately when these documents are available.
Are you a staff member who will be submitting a transfer request for your student to attend CISD? In the required proof of residency section, please upload a document stating that you are a CISD staff member. Don't forget - you are required to submit a transfer student application EACH year!

I have a returning student. Is there anything I need to do if my information is correct?
Yes! Every Community ISD returning studentMUSThave their returning registration completed before they are able to attend school for the 2024-25 school year. Please sign in to your Family Access Portal in Skyward to complete your student's returning student registration form.
I have a returning student. Do I have to upload the documents requested?
This year, the only document to upload for returning students is a proof of residency. This is required to complete and submit the online returning student registration.
Proof of Residency
A utility bill with a date, within a month of enrollment, must be provided to the school the student is zoned to attend to prove residency in the attendance zone.In accordance with the Texas Education Agency, residency is not defined by an address on a driver’s license, a signature on a lease, or the address on a utility bill. These are indicators that may expedite verifying residency. CISD Board Policy also states that, "the District may investigate stated residency as necessary."
Utility bills include:
Water
Electric
Gas
Trash/recycling
Internet/cable
Landline phone
Lease or building agreement/deed/land contract for future moves into the district (accepted up to 60 days of move in date)

What is my first step to register my new student?

Do I have to upload all documents?
There will be some documents that are required to upload in order to complete and submit the new student enrollment form.The documents requiredto be uploaded are: parent/guardian's driver's license, proof of residency, and student shot record.Other documents, including birth certificate, social security card, report cards, etc.,may be brought into the campus office, or if you are coming from a Texas school, those documents will be sent via the Texas Records Exchange from their previous school.Out of state new students must provide those documents either by uploading them online in the enrollment form, or by bringing a copy up to the campus.

If you are having issues with uploading documents from your computer or you do not have a computer or scanner, you can complete online registration from a smartphone andupload a picture of the required documents.Alternatively,you can make an appointment with your child's campus, where someone can help you upload the documents.
